However, this falls short in close-quarters combat, where an SMG or well-placed shotgun shot can easily counter the power of this weapon.

Still, with the right attachment, the CR-56 AMAX can be turned into a heavy hitter, even at close range. Thus, it can be disastrous at all levels with the right loadout.
