Crypto Prices Today Update: Bitcoin price rises and crosses $52,000

The top crypto saw a significant surge in prices today as the price of Bitcoin (BTC) crossed the $52,000 level. Additionally, Ethereum moved closer to the $2,900 level, a major milestone in two years. Meanwhile, other top altcoins, such as XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA) saw notable growth.

This morning the price of Bitcoin surged and crossed $52,000. At the time of writing on Monday, February 19, the price of Bitcoin rose by 1.07% to $52,118.02. On the other hand, its trading volume fell by 15.03% to $18.22 billion in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, crypto boasted a market cap of $1.02 trillion.

After this, the price of Ethereum increased by 3.58% to $2,892.43 and the market valuation was $347.57 billion. Whereas, ETH saw a 32.57% increase in trading volume, reaching $24.41 billion. Meanwhile, Binance Coin (BNB) price remained inactive as its value increased by 0.03% to reach $352.54. Furthermore, its 24-hour trading volume fell by 2.53% to $1.04 billion.

Solana’s price fell below the $110 mark amid the decline. Solana price fell 3.12% to close at $109.79. And trading volume in SOL increased by 12.56% to $1.55 billion in the last 24 hours. Furthermore, the price of XRP rose above $0.56. XRP price gained 1.44% to close at $0.5606. However, XRP trading volume fell by 23.57% to $703.37 million.

Cardano’s price rejected the rally trend and fell by 0.50% today to $0.6224. In contrast, its 24-hour trading volume recorded an increase of 1.66%, closing at $610.73 million. As top crypto prices surged today, the meme coin sector followed suit. Dogecoin’s price rose by 2.50% to $0.08581, while its rival Shiba Inu saw its value rise by 1.02% and traded at $0.000009797.
