As the rain stopped in Ahmedabad and then resumed, fans are looking at the IPL rulebook. The rules say that if the final is not held tonight, a reserve day is kept. Tomorrow i.e. Monday 29th May is reserve day.

According to the rules, if the rain does not stop tomorrow also and the Super Over (one-over eliminator) is not played, then the team which will be on top of the points table will win the trophy.
GT is on top of the points table with 10 wins from 14 matches. CSK finished second with 17 points, with eight wins, five losses, and one no-result.

The cut-off time for the 20-over match is 9:35 PM IST. If the match starts after 9:35 pm, then the overs will start decreasing. If the match starts at 9:45 PM IST then the fans will get a match of 19 overs. Here is a list of other start times:-

- 12-overs-a-side match if the match starts at 11:00 pm IST.
