Both Jason Roy and Liton Das will play today’s match for selection in the home team. They could go on to make some changes to a starting combination that has been both shaky and unreliable. SRH, on the other hand, welcomed the return of their South African contingent and would not need to make many changes.

N Jagadeesan’s inclusion means they can afford to replace the Afghan keeper-batsman. However, it will be difficult to drop him, especially since there is no certainty about his place in N Jagadeesan’s XI.

So while there is a chance the Knight Riders will bring Roy into the mix, it might not be the wisest idea right now, especially on home ground.

After their win in the last match, SRH has no real reason to make changes.
Harry Brook was promoted to open in the previous match but failed once again. While it may not be the time to panic yet, its slow start in the tournament will worry Hyderabad.

Mayank Markande did well in the last match and should be brought in as an impact sub if SRH comes second. If they follow through then Abdul Samad can be handed that job.
