Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea 5G recharge plan price 2022 – Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea Tipped to Bring 5G Plans 2022: 5G rollout is due in October. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 5G services in India at the India Mobile Congress on October 1. After the inauguration, telecom operators such as Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone-Idea (Vi) are expected to roll out 5G services in various parts of the country in October itself.
22 cities will be covered in the first phase of the 5G rollout, which includes metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi, etc. Telecom operators have not yet announced the exact rollout date. Meanwhile, a new report states that the tariff of the 5G recharge plan could be similar to that of the 4G plan in India.

Tariffs may be similar to 4G services due to the absence of sufficient use cases to boost 5G network adoption in India.

Earlier it was expected that the price of 5G recharge plans in India would be at least 20 percent more than the 4G prepaid plans. However, there is a possibility that telcos may launch 5G networks with recharge plans that cost the same as 4G plans. This move could lead to a faster access to 5G services in India.
5G adoption in the country increased, and telcos in South Korea and China did not see an increase in average revenue per user (ARPU) despite higher data usage.

Airtel’s ARPU is Rs 183, while its arch-rival Jio’s ARPU is Rs 176. The lowest ARPU of Vi is Rs 128. The company increased the prices of various 4G recharge plans in India by up to 25 percent in November 2021.
Telecom operators are working on starting 5G service in India. Jio aims to offer 5G nationwide by December 2023. Rivals Airtel and Vi are also promising a quick rollout in all parts of the country in the coming months.
