Pokémon GO 2022 Events: Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Event, Dates, and cities: The dates for Pokémon GO Fest have already been announced, so trainers can start marking their calendars.
Pokemon Go Fest is usually the biggest annual event. Last year’s Pokémon GO Fest was a huge event that allowed trainers to catch nearly every Pokémon through Raid, among other features.
Although there aren’t too many details yet about this year’s Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic will certainly try to make it bigger than the last one.
Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Event
Pokémon GO Fest will officially run from Saturday, June 4th to Sunday, June 5. In addition, there will be a bonus finale event on Saturday 27th August.
All these events will be accessible to all players, with Niantic also hosting an in-person event for the first time since the pandemic. These events will take place on the following dates and venues:-
- Berlin, Germany (Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July 3)
- Seattle, Washington, USA (Friday, July 22 to Sunday, July 24)
- Sapporo, Japan (Friday, August 5 to Sunday, August 7)
These events could be similar to the individual events of 2019 in Chicago, Dortmund, and Yokohama.

However, the legend depicted in 2022 will actually be a grass-type Shaymin. Looking at the initial poster of the event, a pink flower can be seen around the logo. The same pink flower can be found on Shaymin.
Shaymin could be a very powerful force if it were introduced. It is known for its signature move, the seed flare, which lowers an opponent’s special defense on top of dealing damage.
