Rockstar Games is going to officially showcase its latest project on December 5, 2023. Studios have historically maintained a gap of at least a year between the first reveal and final release. However, sometimes, the latter program gets delayed, causing more time.
The release of the GTA 6 trailer will be the first step for Rockstar Games to publish its new project. So, there’s a high chance that we won’t see a release date as the studio has a lot of other events to cover before announcing it.
Grand Theft Auto 5 and RDR 2 were both delayed from their scheduled release date. Therefore, it is best not to expect a release date until a year later than December 5, 2023.
Many trailers will be released before the release date is announced

Rockstar Games released six GTA 5 trailers before its eventual release on September 17, 2013.
The first trailer is an introduction to the project
Typically, the first trailer is always an introductory video that introduces a project to the public. The next GTA trailer will also be a similar presentation that will introduce the player base to the new Vice City map, graphics, some characters, and more.
So, expecting the video to provide key details, such as release dates and platforms, is too big to ask.
Rockstar Games has not set a definite release date yet
Before Rockstar Games made recent announcements, multiple insiders reported that the studio had not yet finalized a release date for the next Grand Theft Auto game. Since possible delays also cannot be ruled out, insiders said that the release could take place between late 2024 and early 2025.
